Senator Barickman Donates Page For A Day To IMH Hospice Brunch/Basket Raffle

WATSEKA, ILLINOIS -Lonnie Dirks, IMH Hospice Bereavement and Community Outreach Coordinator, is pleased to announce that one of the many baskets featured in this year's basket raffle at the IMH Hospice Brunch on Sunday, November 3rd from 8:00am -1:00pm at the Watseka Community High School will be for an "Honorary Page for a Day" at the Illinois General Assembly
which was donated by Senator Jason Barickman.
The winner will be a special guest of State Senator Jason Barickman and will have the opportunity to serve on the House floor by running errands for the representatives. They will also have a chance to visit with legislators and learn firsthand about the political system.
The honorary page must be between the ages of 8 and 18. The spring session usually begins in the middle of January and adjourns at the end of May. Proceeds from the IMH Hospice Brunch and Basket Raffle go to the Hospice Memorial Fund and are used to cover services and supplies for Hospice patients that may not be covered by Medicare, Medicaid or other insurance.
