CORNERSTONE CHURCH DONATES PILLOWS FOR PEDIATRIC PATIENTS
FEBRUARY 15, 2013
WATSEKA, ILLINOIS -Iroquois Memorial Hospital recently received a donation of pillows designed for children by the children from the Cornerstone Church, Watseka.
The pillows, made by the church's children's group, are made from a soft fleece and feature animals and fun patterns. After being hand tied by the children's group they were sewed and stuffed by church volunteers. The pillows were delivered to IMH by Pastor Jerry (PJ) Parker to be given to children coming to IMH for treatment.
Shortly after the pillows were dropped off at IMH some of them found new homes with a number of pediatric patients that were seen that same day in the IMH Specialty Clinic by Dr. William Youngerman, Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist in the IMH Specialty Clinic that same day.
The Cornerstone Church meets 9:00am on Sundays at Celebrations, 209 W. Oak St., Watseka.
