Birthing Class Scheduled For June
May 19, 2014
![]() Chrissy Littlefield, RN, BSN |
The class, for expectant parents, provides important knowledge on the practical ways to prepare for their unique child birth experience. "While very informative, the class is informal. We encourage those attending to dress comfortably, relax and ask lots of questions," said Littlefield. Expectant moms are encouraged to bring a support person.
Those attending the class will learn what to expect in later pregnancy, labor, comfort techniques, medical procedures, cesarean birth, and newborn care. Expectant moms will learn about caring for themselves during the hospital stay and for the first couple of weeks following delivery.
Please call the OB department at 815.432.7771 to register for this free class.
