MEDICAL CREDIT LINE

Convenience is a major feature of the medical credit line, a revolving credit account. The payment schedule allows you to spread your payments over several months or several years
depending on the amount you owe Iroquois Memorial. You may place balances from $100 and up on your credit account.

The medical credit line allows you to combine several accounts into one and to add the cost of future hospital bills at an interest rate lower than most credit cards.

If you are interested in opening a medical credit line with Iroquois Memorial Hospital, here's what to do...

Determine the total amount you owe the hospital. Patient Financial Services can help you with this.

Read the contract. (Forms are provided by Patient Financial Services.) The person or persons responsible for making the monthly payments must sign the contract. (Keep the pink copy; return all others to Patient Financial Services.)

You will receive a monthly statement from Account Management Service.

The monthly statements are easy to read and contain all the information you will need to keep your medical credit line in good standing.

Medical Credit Line Payment Guidelines:
All balances less than $875... Minimum monthly payment = $35
All balances greater than $875... Minimum monthly payment = 4% of balance
